Gingko leaves. These gingko leaves were very special souvenirs from wonderful friends who visited China! Our friends knew that we had a special fondness for gingko trees. Generations of our family grew up around a very old gingko tree in New York city. The best souvenirs really can be simple! These leaves traveled around the world & were then pressed simply in an old phone book. After a week, they were framed in a plain and inexpensive frame. The gingko is an ancient tree, native to China and has beautifully varied fan-shaped leaves that turn a golden yellow in autumn. (Thanks M & N!) See more leaves. Make leaves. Maple leaves. Tupelo.
