Enjoy collecting leaves with your favorite children! Gather a variety of different leaves (seen here clockwise: Northern red oak leaf; White oak leaf, maple leaf, White oak leaf). Trace them, cut them out and make your own paper tree. Add gingko leaves! Another fun idea: place a leaf between two pieces of paper; peel the label off a crayon and rub it over the 'sandwiched' leaf; you will create an interestingly textured leaf shape impression.
